Week 3 Write-up

Week 3 Match-ups
My initial decision was to go with mattswifeisamilf.blogspot.com, but after a chat with Phil tonight, I was reminded that wives are off limits (or at least they are supposed to be). Anyway, I apologize if this is somewhat unorthodox, but I hope that you enjoy the week 3 write up.

What can we say about this matchup? Well, the defenses combined for a total of 44 points. Drywallers posted their first win of the season. But maybe most importantly, this matchup featured some of the best smack talk of the season. In what promised to be a match between two teams destined to be sub-.500 after the weekend, Darren Da Bomb can feel good about the fact that even if he had played the right guys he still would have come up short. I guess that settles the debate over which one is shorter after all.

Don't ask my why, but if you do a search on Google Images for "fatslappas", the douche bag above shows up as the first result. Seems somewhat fitting. Meanwhile, there are no results at all for Stinkyokole, what the hell that ever means, but a regular google search comes up with just a few entries, mostly revolving around high scores in Halo 3, which means our resident (and favorite) asian either loves him some XBox 360 action, or there is ANOTHER Stinkyokole out there. Considering that he can't even be bothered to show up for the draft (and yet he still kicks us in the ass every Sunday), I'm willing to bet that chopsticks is enjoying him some Halo when he isn't cooking kitties. But then you have to ask yourself this: why would Stinky play a microsoft console when a perfectly acceptable Sony or Nintendo alternative is available to him? Am I reading too much into this?
Oh yeah, and once again Stinky pooped on his opponent and walked away with the only perfect record in the league. With a team he didn't draft. This guy is the fucking Kaiser Soze of the MILF Hunters league. You won't know what hit you until he's raped and killed you and your family.

To quote a very wise man, hot chicks are so hot. Unfortunately for Phil, Bud has hot chicks and a win, and Phil has a 900 year old pointy eared freak. Even Sam can't help him win this one. And as I can't think of anything further to say about this game, I think it's fair time that we acknowledge Bud's most excellent drafting skills this year. In video form that is. Just so we are clear, drywallers is the spaniard in this scenario, and Phil is the giant.

(That's right Hiroshima, its the Princess effing Bride. I went there. And it totally wasn't gay.)

This game can be summed up in two words: DeSean Jackson. Sorry Amish, sad but true. And we all hope you learned a valuable lesson: be a complete homer to your favorite team. (And don't worry, even if that doesn't work, Stinky will still kick your ass next week.) Also, who knew that a Steelhead was a fish? Go figure. Both guys end up at 2-1.

Just for the hell of it:

Look, this has been a tough season for the 'Brew. Uhm, Homebrew that is. And I don't really want to talk about it. Last week was bad, and this week isn't looking any better. To make matters worse, Hebrews is now letting you all say whatever crap you want about me, when I've worked my ass off to make this the best and most interactive, multimedia friendly write-up ever. Considering that I may have the first 0-13 team in history, this write-up is the only thing that is enjoyable for me. Sure, its 2 days late. Crap on me on the message board all you want. I deserve it. But I hope you enjoyed the write-up. And to distract you from how bad my team is, a small reminder of how freaking awesome America is:

(Sorry for the 10 second delay at the beginning of the video. Yep, this is just another screw-up by me. Go ahead, make fun of me again. I only had to figure out a way to download a flash movie, convert it to MPEG and post it back to the internet to get that to work. Meanwhile Phil still can't spell fantasy, but you all let that one slide).

Public Service Announcement
Don't forget that the bye weeks start this week. I'm sure you haven't forgotten, but just an FYI. Oh, and Darren, don't worry, we know that you know that its the bye week, but more importantly every week is the "bi" week for you.

Memories (Of Happier Days)

Remember back when you thought your team was going to be good? Or was that just me...

Good Luck
Best of luck again to everyone this week. I promise the next write-up I do will be better and most timely.
